As an incoming graduate student plan to attend the following orientations:
New Graduation Student Orientation
This is a university-wide program offered to all incoming graduate students, coordinated by the Office of Graduate Studies. The orientation will provide a useful overview of what you can expect at Texas A&M University – including information on policies, procedures, resources and services on campus and in the community.
Incoming students are asked to register and attend one of the two New Graduate Orientation dates on either Friday, August 19 or Friday, August 26.

Department of Nuclear Engineering
Incoming Graduate Students
All incoming graduate students to the department are expected to attend the NE Graduate Orientation.
Wednesday, August 24
Zachry Engineering Center
Room 105B
8:30 am until noon
Dr. Raymond Juzaitis, department head, will welcome the students and Dr. Karen Vierow, graduate academic advisor, will give a brief overview of the program. A representative from the TEES personnel services will present information regarding health insurance, and a NE departmental representative will be on hand to discuss other necessary forms.

Teaching Assistant Training
This training is for any graduate student who has not been offered a GAR position for the FALL 2011 semester. More information will be provided at orientation.
International Student Services
Any Texas A&M University student who is not a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident is considered to be an international student. All international students must complete the Online Orientation.
You must complete the Fall 2011 Online Orientation before you can schedule a Check-In appointment or register for the New International Student Conference (NISC).
