The Texas A&M Nuclear Engineering Department is currently the largest in the USA. But even more importantly, our academic program educates and prepares nuclear professionals for careers that span the full gamut of this extraordinary technical discipline. Accordingly, the Texas A&M Nuclear Engineering Department faculty has a wide spectrum of expertise and research interest, and we support an impressive list of research facilities. Yet, with all this, we are a relatively small department in which students have easy access to the faculty. We are committed to maintaining a "family environment."
