Curriculum Vita
Lin Shao has been appointed Assistant Professor of Nuclear Engineering, effective July 31, 2006. He has been a Director’s Postdoctoral at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) since 2004. Before that he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Houston (UH) from 2001 to 2004. He specializes in materials science. Shao is a recipient of a UH Sigma Xi Student Achievement Award (1999), a LANL Director Funded Postdoctoral Fellowship (2003) and a LANL Postdoctoral Distinguished Performance Award (2006). He has published two book chapters, more than ninety referreed papers (seventy of them in scientific journals) and holds six patents.
