Aerosols
This area focuses on conducting basic and applied research on the formation, interaction and growth processes of clusters and ultra-fine particles in the gas phase. The research is largely interdisciplinary involving faculty in the College of Science and the Dwight Look College of Engineering at Texas A&M.
Current studies include
- Ultra-fine particle aggregation, stability, and condensational thermodynamics
- Molecular dynamic simulation of kinetic processes underlying cluster formation and growth.
The efforts are primarily theoretical and centered around modeling but sometimes involve collaborations with experimental efforts.
