We use the Montessori method of learning based upon the teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori (1870-1952), an Italian educator and physician. The Montessori environment is sequentially structured, relaxed, and creative. It encourages the child to take personal responsibility for his or her actions, resulting in the development of strong personal awareness and self-respect.
There are specially designed Montessori materials within each area of the curriculum. They are attractive, concrete, orderly, sequential, and allow for a maximum amount of self-correction. The exercises within the areas of activity include:

The children also receive lessons in Spanish and Art History.
Along with the Montessori curriculum, the children will work with the Discovery curriculum. In this area, the teacher uses the project approach which will enrich and expand on the Montessori concepts. Projects will emerge from ideas proposed by the children. The children's projects will be carried out in the following areas:
