Kim Hodge -- Owner/Director, Lead Montessori teacher and specialist:
Kim is a busy mother of 2 who runs the Montessori/Discovery room at BVM as well as teaching child development classes at Blinn Jr. College. Educated at the University of Texas in Austin, Kim believes strongly in teaching the messages of anti-bias and tolerance starting with our youngest children. In her spare time, she enjoys any activity that involves the beach and taking in movies.

Shaunda Curtis -- Lead Infant Teacher:
Shaunda, mother of three, runs the 3-ring-circus known as the infant room with grace and ease. She has a Child Development Associate Degree, and she has almost 15 years experience in working with children. Outside of BVM, Shaunda loves to boogie, watch movies, and spend time with her family. You'd never guess that she is a grandma!

Tami Andel -- Lead "Twos" Teacher:
Tami is a Blinn student who graduated with honors from Boling High School. She is pursuing degrees in Early Childhood Education and Psychology, as well as an Administration of Programs for Young Children Associates. When Tami is not with the children, you may find her playing with her pets, shopping/drinking coffee at the local bookstores, or researching subjects from A to Z on the internet. She is also our resident zoologist, corralling guinea pigs on the loose, talking with our bird, and cuddling pet mice. She is working on her Montessori certification from North American Montessori Center, finishing in December 2005.

Lacy Rivers -- Lead Toddler Teacher
Lacy is attending school majoring in early education. She has always loved working and playing with children. She truly loves her job and looks forward to meeting and working with new children!
